Beardsley Zoo Coupons from Gelato Giuliana

Found a great way to get discount admission at CT's Beardsley Zoo. Pick up a pint of Gelato Giuliana from Stew Leonard's. I found valuable coupons on the lid of ALL the Gelato Giuliana flavors (my faves are Hazelnut and Espresso, the kids love the Orange Raspberry mix. The Beardsley Zoo coupons are good for a few dollars off admission and must be presented at the zoo.

Friday Flicks: Free Movies New Haven Green

Between July 15, 2011 and August 12, 2011, there will be free movies on the New Haven Green. The Friday Free Flicks include Men in Black, Back To the Future, The Blues Brothers, Finding Nemo and The Last Days of the Coliseum. The free outdoor movie event has several sponsors including Yale, Continuum of Care Inc, Dunhill Capital and more.

Bring a blanket to sit on, some chairs, snacks and drinks. Nearby parking is available if you get there early enough. If you forget snacks, fresh popped popcorn is free to all and there are a few nearby food vendors. Word of advise, don't forget to bring some bug spray!
